Position: IV&V Project Manager

Client: State of Hawaii

Location: Hawaii, Hybrid/ Onsite

Duration: 12 months

Responsibilities:

• Provide engagement management onsite and remotely.
• Serve as liaison for the State Contract Administrator for all IV&V activities.
• Responsible for scheduling and operational correspondence between the respective project entities.
• Ensure alignment of all project IV&V standards with State and Federal requirements.
• Manage IV&V activities and provide reports accordingly.
• Ensures all IV&V deliverables meet the appropriate quality standards.
• Facilitate and organize the engagement, and manage the team work activities consistent with the approved IV&V Management Plan.
• Advise the client regarding best practices and recommend modifications to business processes which improve overall project progress.
• Deliver debriefings with support from the IV&V team.
• Responsible for all subcontractor relationships and activities, if applicable.

Minimum qualifications:

• Current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI), or equivalent.
• Five (5) years of experience in a leadership role on an implementation project with contract value in excess of five (5) million dollars, preferably in child support enforcement.
• Three (3) years of experience in IV&V for a public sector system implementation project, of which at least half was with a child support system implementation project.
• Three (3) years of experience creating IV&V processes and plans directly related to public sector implementation projects that adhered to industry standards and best practices for quality assurance principles and techniques.
• Bachelors' degree, or equivalent experience, in an IT-related discipline or a field which requires extensive IT training.
