2 x Ice Rink Shift Supervisors 4 shifts a week
Duties:
-Manage the opening and closing of the rink daily
-Overseeing the quality and maintenance of the ice and tempering as needed
-Overseeing the safety of the guests on and surrounding the rink
-Overseeing the set up and closing of the skate rental shack daily
-Driving sales and skate rentals
-Reporting maintenance and service issues to venue management
-Maintaining a high service standard for both the facilities and rental/check in teams
3 x Ice Rink Facilities 4 shifts a week
Duties:
-Learning to maintain ice
-Clean/resurface the ice hourly
-Maintain facility around the ice to ensure guest safety including walkways, plants, and lighting fixtures
-Properly storing and maintaining ice rink rink tools and equipment
-Collecting, cleaning and sharpening skates
-Guarding the rink to maintain a safe flow of guests on and off the ice
-Emptying trash and maintaining a tidy rink area
3 x Ice Rink Shack Rental Employees 4 shifts a week
Duties:
-Welcoming guests to the Studio Skate experience and explaining all the venues offerings
-Checking in guests and completing safety waivers
-Driving rental sales and processing payment for skate rentals
-Providing shoe and coat check for guests as needed
-Collecting, cleaning and sharpening skates
-Emptying trash and maintaining a tidy skate shack
Requirements
- Must be eligible to work in the United States (E-Verify) legally
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions
- Ability to build relationships with colleagues and customers and ensure mutual satisfaction
- Customer-oriented and planning skills
- Courteous and attentive to guests
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, such as staying on your feet, climbing stairs, and carrying heavy objects
- An essential part of the job is being available on a flexible schedule and being willing to work outside office hours. AM/PM service and nights, weekends, and holidays as required
- There will be a variable working schedule
