RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

• Work with key stakeholders and end users to gather, understand, and define business requirements.
• Develop and own user stories and process flows to support the design and development of analytics and data integration solutions for our internal partners, and work collaboratively with other team members and Internal IT groups to ensure the solutions meet the business requirements and fulfill user stories
• Understand and rationalize broad business needs and work with key stakeholders to manage prioritization process and plan for effective delivery
• Work with stakeholders, end-users, and internal Engineering teams to do data analysis and mapping
• Demonstrate strong understanding of analytical reporting capabilities and limitations and can clearly communicate those to internal partners.
• Identify and inventory process pain points and gaps in best practices. Interpret business strategy and technical roadmaps and develop highlevel recommendations for solutions.
• Communicate status of requests to business stakeholders on a regular and frequent basis

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Ideally, demonstrated experience working with life sciences or Clinical data or Pharma Domain
• Proven experience working on datacentric systems in a production environment
• Working knowledge of Microsoft BI stack (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, Power BI), Amazon Redshift (or similar Data Warehouse technologies), Electronic Data Capture systems (EDCs) and other analytics technologies (Tableau, custom frontend)
• Proficient in SQL query language to investigate data issues and articulate root problems and/or scope of impact
• Microsoft SQL Server certifications preferred but not required
• Ability to break down work, starting with a high-level concept and working down to small chunks that are ready for development team to pick up
• Ability to understand requirements and translate them into technical pieces of work
• Demonstrate the ability to see tasks through to completion with minimal oversight & guidance
• Ability to establish and maintain relationships with internal business and IT departments
• Must be able to work well and communicate effectively with technical and nontechnical people
• Ability to understand and analyze business problems
• Strong analytical skills, problem/solving, and quantitative experience
• Strong written and oral communication skills

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum 3-5 years' experience working with Data/analytics platforms
• Experience working with business and technology resources required
• Experience authoring high quality User Stories or requirements required
• Experience in Agile environment and understanding of Agile methodology concepts, techniques and terminology a plus
