Renowned Law Firm Seeks Active, Motivated Immigration Attorney for Pennsauken Office (Part Time)

About the position:

We are seeking an associate attorney with 1 year of immigration law experience. You must be able to travel to our Pennsauken Office, as well as to Philadelphia (occasionally) for proceedings and hearings.

Responsibilities for Immigration Attorney (Part Time):

• Represent clients in immigration proceedings, both Master calendar hearings and Individual merits hearings 


• Work in our Pennsauken office 2-3 days a week with one possible remote workday (work from home) on Fridays


• Spanish speaking is a MAJOR plus

• Licensed to practice law in NJ


• Member of NJ Bar Association


• 1 Year of immigration experience


• Must be able to perform client intake and complete immigration applications like I-130 (marriage petition), I-485 (green card application), I-765 (work permits), I-944 (public charge application), I-601 and I-601, N-400, special immigrant juvenile and other, mostly non-business, applications


• Experience with drafting and submitting various motions


• Able to work under pressure and handle a high caseload


• Proficient in Microsoft Office especially Word and Excel, Adobe


• Skilled at using practice management software like Clio or Practice Panther
  
   

Compensation: 

$30-$40 per hour depending on experience

This position is Part Time.

Schedule: Tuesdays and Thursdays with occasional Fridays if there is a court case or hearing scheduled.
