Title: Implementation Specialist/Network engineer Location: Edison, NJ / Santa Clara, CA (Onsite/Need Local Only) Duration: Contract EDGE Platforms: 1.1 PCs - Optiplex 7000 XE Micro, OEM XE4, 3000 1.2 Gateways -Cagliari, Alghero 5200/3200 Job Description: Connect a display to the Edge Gateway (if necessary Connect a keyboard and mouse if accessing the Edge Gateway directly. Connect an Ethernet cable to Ethernet port. Connect the Edge Gateway to power source. When setting up the Edge Gateway for the first time, complete the operating system setup. Install the Edge Gateway using applicable mounting options. Connect a network cable. Insert the antenna into the connector. Connect the antennas or Install the WLAN/WWAN antenna to enable the wireless connections. Connect all desired cables to the appropriate I/O ports on the Edge Gateway. Open the micro-SIM or micro-SD card access door. Insert a micro-SIM card into the top micro-SIM card slot and activate your mobile broadband service. Contact your service provider to activate your micro-SIM card. Insert a micro-SD card into the bottom micro-SD card slot. Connect a grounding cable to the Edge Gateway (if necessary Connect a SELV/limited energy circuit power source to the Edge Gateway and press the power button to turn it on. Turn on the corresponding dip switches to enable the RS422/R485 ports. After the Edge Gateway setup is complete, reinstall the dust covers on any unused ports.
