Summary:
The primary purpose of this job is to be responsible for supporting the production floor by maintaining industrial machines through preventative and emergency maintenance. This job is responsible for making informed suggestions on process improvements and methods.
Essential Functions:
Use of diagnostic equipment including multimeters, oscilloscopes and other test instruments Completing projects such as mechanical and electrical repairs and upgrades Interpret electrical schematics, understanding technical manuals, and following written instructions Repair of production equipment from basic hydraulic equipment to complex CNC machinery Remove, repair and reassemble machine components, including hydraulic and electro-mechanical Performing preventative and predictive maintenance Maintain accurate records of projects including machine assembly, start up and installation Participate in daily meetings, prioritizing and reviewing the daily schedule of work Interface with all departments and other personnel in an effective and efficient manner Self-motivated, highly organized and able to multi-task Positively interface with fellow employees and customers in difficult situations Contribute to the company and your team by identify and communicate project improvements opportunities Follow company process and procedures to comply with ISO and AS9100 standards Follow basic shop housekeeping rules, leaving work areas in a clean and orderly manner General facility preventative and repair maintenance Follow all company safety practices and rules Authority to perform all tasks/activities responsible for

Requirements
Manufacturing background Manufacturing Plant Electrician, Preferred IME (Industrial Moving Equipment) License Experience with Siemens 840D, and/Fanuc Controls and Drives Experience in PLC and/or CNC, and test equipment repair procedures An analytical and detail-oriented personality Minimum 3 years of hands-on trouble shooting, maintaining and repairing industrial machines Experience completing preventive maintenance on industrial machines and other company equipment Solid mechanical aptitude of complex mechanical assemblies including precision measurements Able to read and interpret blueprints Able to express basic electronic, mechanical and hydraulic principles used in electrical and mechanical maintenance work assignments The knowledge of conventional welding, carpentry and plumbing Excellent trouble shooting and problem-solving capabilities Strong verbal and written communications skills Must be capable of working efficiently and effectively at any shift such as days or weekends, including irregular and unscheduled hours, if required for machine breakdown and time sensitive projects
