Infant Nursery Supervisor

About The Sunshine House:

We are looking for dedicated, experienced Infant Nursery Supervisor who make child and family relationships a priority while understanding and applying early childhood education practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour based on qualifications outlined below

Some day-to-day tasks:

  • Complete ongoing state and company training to help equip you to create a safe and engaging environment- we pay for the courses and your time!
  • Use curriculum studies to create lesson plans that you and your students will love. Dont worry, we have lots of ideas to choose from.
  • Welcome our families. Engage them in conversation about their child's education, and the features and benefits of our programs.
  • Provide a safe and inclusive classroom.
  • Apply knowledge of child development to foster relationships with children and tailor the play-based environment.
  • Adhere to state licensing, health, fire and quality rating procedures
  • Have fun!

Requirements

Early Childhood Lead: Applicants must be 19 years old, have a high school diploma or GED and must meet one of the following options.

  • Completed two early childhood education courses, one course must be (ECE 101 or ECE 103) with a grade of C or better with 6 month (910) of verified experience.
  • Obtained a B.A. or A.A. in a field unrelated to early childhood education requires 6 ECE credit hours with one of the courses either ECE 101 or ECE 103
  • B.A. or A.A. in a field related to early childhood education does not require any additional coursework or hours of experience
  • Level 2 or higher Shines Credential: a combination of experience and professional development
  • Current Child Development Associate Credential (or the equivalency; i.e, 12 ECE Credits)
  • In addition, must meet INS requirements
