Infor/Lawson Technical Consultant - Remote
Contract

Infor IDM Level 4 certification or the ability to obtain within 30 days of hire

Summary
Technical Consultant with at least 10 years of experience in the Lawson and Infor universe. The primary focus of this advanced position is to provide comprehensive support for the organization’s implementing Infor and current clients supported on our AMS platform. This involves coding application interfaces, database analysis/design, and testing/debugging of user-reported issues. Will be expected to actively collaborate on or lead larger-scale project teams to design, code, and implement new features and solutions or upgrades of existing software. The technical consultant will work closely with implementation teams, consultants, and internal and external customers. They will strive to achieve customer success by recommending best practices related to applications and overall business processes. Exceptional functional and technical knowledge across the entire Lawson and Infor CloudSuite of products.

A Day in the Life
• Using your vast hands-on knowledge of both S3 and Infor CloudSuite products to enable our clients to create an exceptional user experience
• You will be part of a small, highly driven team and will be responsible for implementing features and enhancements to the Infor system through cyclical updates, patches and troubleshooting. Your work will touch all parts of the system lifecycle.
• You will work with clients on-site as well as remotely in various industries.
• Assist with the development of complex solutions and integrations for clients
• You will need excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task as well as prioritize and meet aggressive deadlines
• You will create designs based on business requirements, recommend best practices, manage projects through full lifecycle, assist in system customization/integrations, and prepare documentation for clients including training materials
• Complete assigned tickets and tasks through the help desk application
• Configure applications according to requirements and design, and conduct required end user, system integration and unit testing
• Provide post go-live support

What You Will Need
• Deep experience with v9 or v10 Lawson S3 as well as Infor’s CloudSuite
• At least 10+ years of experience in consulting on the Infor/Lawson platform
• Deep knowledge in COBOL, LSF, LAUA security with the ability to work independently and with a team.
• Ability to be proactive in customer service and approach.
• Lead consultant with hands-on end-to-end implementation and integration experience
• Strong presentation skills
• Landmark Configuration Console and Inor Process Designer experience is a plus
• Able to travel up to 15% of the time
• Infor IDM Level 4 certification or the ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
