Title: Sr. Informatica Developer - Remote

Location: Remote

Client Industry: Appliances, Electrical, and Electronics Manufacturing

We have partnered with our client in their search for a Senior Informatica Developer. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in Informatica development, with a focus on ETL, data integration, and data management. They should have deep experience working with Informatica PowerCenter, M3, and P360, with an emphasis on designing, developing, testing, and maintaining robust data solutions.

Responsibilities

• 
  

  Design and develop complex ETL workflows and mappings using Informatica PowerCenter to fulfill business data requirements.

  
  


• 
  

  Use M3 and P360 to enhance data quality and management capabilities, ensuring consistent and reliable data across all business functions.

  
  


• 
  

  Collaborate with data architects, modelers, and IT team members on project goals.

  
  


• 
  

  Understand and translate business needs into data models, supporting long-term solutions.

  
  


• 
  

  Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.

  
  


• 
  

  Perform thorough testing and validation in order to support the accuracy of data transformations and data verification used in machine learning models.

  
  


• 
  

  Work closely with business units and application teams to ensure systems are fully integrated with the data warehouse.

  
  


• 
  

  Participate in peer reviews of designs, codes, and test plans, ensuring best practices are adhered to.

  
  


• 
  

  Debug and troubleshoot complex software and data issues, and identify performance bottlenecks.

  
  


• 
  

  Document and communicate all development and modification efforts.

  
  

Skills Required

• 
  

  Minimum of 8 years of experience working with Informatica tools, specifically with PowerCenter, M3, and P360.

  
  


• 
  

  Extensive experience in ETL development and data integration.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong SQL and database design skills.

  
  


• 
  

  Proven ability to write, debug, and optimize complex queries.

  
  


• 
  

  Familiarity with data architecture and data warehouse concepts.

  
  


• 
  

  Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  
  


• 
  

  Proven experience with the full software development lifecycle.

  
  


• 
  

  Prior experience in a large-scale corporate environment preferred.

  
  

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
