AOC Program Solutions is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in overseeing Air Force IT systems.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive security policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Air Force IT systems.
• Oversee the day-to-day management and operation of information security programs, including risk assessment, incident response, access control, and vulnerability management.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections of IT systems, networks, and applications to identify security vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with established security standards and protocols.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including system administrators, network engineers, and software developers, to ensure the integration of security measures into system design and implementation processes.
• Provide guidance and support to system administrators and users on security best practices, policies, and procedures.
• Monitor and analyze security logs and event data to identify and respond to security incidents and breaches in a timely manner.
• Conduct security training and awareness programs for employees, promoting a culture of security consciousness.
• Stay updated with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies, and recommend appropriate security controls and countermeasures.
• Prepare and maintain documentation, including security plans, risk assessments, and security incident reports.
• Coordinate with government agencies and contractors on security-related matters, including audits and assessments.
• Occasional travel to project sites and collaboration with government agencies and contractors.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience overseeing Air Force IT systems, with a focus on information security.
• Security+ certification is required.
• Cisco Certified Network Admin (CCNA) certification is required.
• Strong knowledge of information security principles, practices, and technologies.
• Familiarity with relevant regulations, standards, and frameworks such as NIST, FISMA, and DIACAP.
• Experience with vulnerability assessment tools, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and security information and event management (SIEM) systems.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Top Secret/SCI security clearance is required.
• SAP eligibility is necessary.
