Role : Infrastructure Engineer

Location : Chicago, IL or Richardson, TX-----hybrid

Job Type : 6+ Months contract

Primary Skills

Required Job Qualifications:

• Excellent knowleddge of administrating WebSphere Application Server/Tomcat/JBoss servers
• Infrastructure Automation (such ansible tool preferred)
• Operations Management and IT standards, procedures, and policies
• Experts level knowledge of IBM WAS/Tomcat/JBoss in design, installation, fixpack upgrade, migration, and configuration
• Experts level knowledge with WAS horizontal/vertical Clustering
• Ability to simplify & standardize complex concepts / processes
• Understanding of business priorities (e.g., vision), trends (e.g., industry knowledge) and markets (e.g., existing/ planned)
• Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, and organizational skills are required; teamwork and collaboration
• Problem solving / analytical skills, tools and techniques with experience in troubleshooting WAS/Tomcat/JBoss issues as well as other complex performance issues
• Ability to create long and short term plan and prioritize tasks and make trade-off decisions
• Ability to drive cross functional executions and manage project schedule
• Adaptability and ability to introduce / manage change with ServiceNow and Jari
• Basic understanding of AIX/RedHat/Windows administration and including basic shell scripting
