Description: The Infrastructure Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure to support its business operations effectively. They work with a team of IT professionals, work closely with other internal and external departments, and ensure the organization's technology resources are reliable, secure, and aligned with business objectives. The Infrastructure Manager also plays a crucial role in overseeing and managing IT infrastructure, which includes hardware, software, networks, and other technology resources. Their responsibilities encompass various aspects of infrastructure management to ensure that the organization's technology operates efficiently and securely coordinating with Indiana Office of Technology. Responsibilities: Infrastructure Planning: Develop and execute strategic plans for the organization's IT infrastructure to meet current and future business needs. Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, including network administrators, system administrators, and support staff, to ensure efficient infrastructure operations. Budget Management: Manage the infrastructure budget, including cost control, resource allocation, and vendor relationships. Technology Evaluation: Stay updated on emerging technologies and evaluate their potential benefits for the organization. Recommend and implement appropriate technological upgrades and improvements. Network Management: Oversee the organization's network infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security. Server and Data Center Management: Manage server hardware, data centers, and cloud resources, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Security and Compliance: Implement security measures to protect infrastructure and data. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices. Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: Develop and maintain plans for data backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity to minimize downtime and data loss. Vendor Management: Collaborate with technology vendors, negotiate contracts, and oversee service level agreements (SLAs Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Address infrastructure-related issues and outages promptly, minimizing disruption to business operations.
