Our outpatient clinic in Meridian, ID is seeking a PRN Infusion Registered Nurse to support our Infusion Center. This position will be PRN/ as needed.

The infusion nurse will provide infusion therapy to the patients at Treasure Valley Rheumatology following the standards of care, policies and guidelines of TVR set forth by the National Infusion Center Association, NICA.

The infusion Nurse will collaborate with the Physicians, clinic staff and the front office to ensure continuity of care aligns with the organizational vision that advocates patient needs across the continuum of care. Foster patient satisfaction by building and maintaining a caring and supportive environment. Communicate effectively with patients, families, employees, physicians, and management.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide professional nursing care for patients, following AON standards and practices
• Administers IV treatment drugs
• Consults physicians regarding dose modifications, problems, and symptom management
• Provides triage support for patient phone calls as needed and documents relevant information in patients chart
• Acts as a resource for clinical staff

QUALIFICATIONS

• Registered Nurse, appropriate state license
• Experience in IV therapy.
• Experience with patients in a clinic or hospital is preferred.
• Critical thinking skills and the ability to assess patient needs and condition is essential as well as the ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations
• Current CPR & BLS certifications are required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills is required.

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
