IT Perfectionists is helping small and medium-sized companies to achieve their goals, be much better organized and go paperless, using simple but powerful and effective cloud-based tools. Our main focus is on projects that help others - from personal consultants, through manufacturing of unique medical devices up to construction projects that build our future.

SO WHAT'S THIS ROLE ABOUT?

Simply put: you'd be managing our infrastructure and supporting ours and our clients' needs for that matter.

You should be able to handle tasks as:

- Prepare and execute a project to make sure that our servers and related services are HIPAA compliant (very key project) - Set and maintain security of our infrastructure, including access levels, guidelines for users, etc. - Drive overall monitoring of our infrastructure and respond rapidly to any issues - Improve performance of our web-based software - Manage and optimize databases for each client

AND WHAT DO I NEED TO MAKE IT?

For now we are rather small company and therefore main factors are responsibility and independence. Your role will be very key for us and while we don't expect you to know everything or to be available 24/7, we might ask for occasional urgent interventions out of business hours. Or to actually switch the hours with evening or weekend, when only minimum people are working.

OK THEN! ANY SPECIAL TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE I MIGHT NEED?

We work mostly with:

- Remote as well as local dedicated servers (Supermicro) along with related equipment, - OS: Linux-based systems, mostly CentOS 7+, but also a bit of Debian, - Virtualization: Proxmox and OpenShift (focusing on cloud services), - DB: PostgreSQL 10+, - Reporting/Monitoring: Kibana, ElasticSearch, Grafana, Sentry, (link removed) - Web-based ERP system: Odoo, - Document Management System: NextCloud, - Basic scripting tools (Python/Bash)
