About the Team:

The Data & Analytics team is responsible for supporting data-led decision-making across the organization. The team works with an advanced Data platform and the wider business to identify and capitalize on opportunities for income growth.

Camelot Illinois will work to reinvigorate the Illinois Lottery brand through innovative insight-led programs such as enhanced games, effective social messaging, and original advertising campaigns.

Position Overview:

Camelot Illinois is seeking a talented Insights and Data Analyst to join our team. The Analyst will be responsible for delivering analysis and reporting, fulfilling regulatory-mandated requests, and identifying opportunities to grow income. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting retail and digital player KPIs, analyzing marketing campaigns and A/B tests, as well as building dashboards.

Additionally, helping to establish the Illinois Lottery brand, to be a champion of the people of Illinois, through the execution of key job responsibilities is a priority. Department excellence is key to powering possibilities for the people of Illinois.

Responsibilities:

• Support the business by providing data, reporting and analysis using our in house data platform and other third party resources
• Data support, analysis and reporting on:
  • Support retail KPI's, digital player KPI's, and other relevant metrics
  • Marketing campaigns and A/B tests
  • Game level product performance
  • Promotional and Sweepstake activities
• Building of front end Dashboards and scheduled automated reporting through our Qlik BI tool (training will be provided) and other third party tools
• The delivery of regulatory reporting as per agreed timelines (including but not limited to FOIA, Governance reporting)
• Manage and respond to any additional ad hoc stakeholder requests for information
• Identify opportunities for growth and optimization

Requirements

Qualifications:

• 3 years+ experience in a Data, Analytics or Insights based role
• 3 years+ of experience and proficiency in writing complex SQL queries
• 3 years+ experience and proficiency in building dashboards and reporting through a BI tool (preferably using QlikSense although Qlik-specific training can be provided to the right candidate)
• Proficiency using Excel and Powerpoint or G-Suite equivalent
• Strong presentation skills and business sense

Preferred:

• Proficiency in Python
• Proven commercial analysis skills in a Betting and Gaming, CPG or Retail environment
• Experience using Adobe Target and Adobe Analytics
• Experience working on A/B tests and an understanding of the statistical tests used to evaluate results
• Degree in Business, Finance, Statistics, Economics, or related field
• Ability to handle multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
