Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee all aspects of program operations, including planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Develop and implement program policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective program delivery.
- Collaborate with staff, faculty, and external partners to develop and deliver high-quality educational programs.
- Provide leadership and guidance to program staff, ensuring adherence to program goals and objectives.
- Recruit, train, and supervise program staff and volunteers.
- Monitor program budgets and expenditures to ensure financial sustainability.
- Conduct research and gather data to inform program development and improvement.

Saint Francis University invites applications for a 9-month full time non-tenured position of Instructor/Program Coordinator in the Department of Education. The Instructor/Program Coordinator is responsible for face-to-face and online teaching within introductory and advanced level courses at the Undergraduate and Graduate Level, advising students, participating in departmental and University service activities, involvement in recruitment and retention activities, and ongoing scholarship/professional development within the Undergraduate and Graduate Education programs. Expertise in curriculum innovation as well as commitment to teaching and scholarly excellence expected.

Masters degree required. Record of highly effective teaching and scholarship. Educational leadership, curriculum/instruction, PA Common Core Academic Standards/initiatives, assessment, and instructional technology skills are essential. Excellent communication, interpersonal and collaborative skills. Knowledge of Guidelines for Teacher Certification, state and federal requirements, and associated educational standards, rules and regulations for early childhood, secondary, and masters level teacher preparation programs (Level I, Level II, Specialist and Administrative Certificates). Commitment to producing high quality educators to meet the rigorous demands of educational settings.

Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in higher education or a related field.
- Experience working with students in an educational setting.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in recruiting and selecting program participants.
- Knowledge of education administration principles and practices.
- Familiarity with curriculum development processes.
