What can you expect:

Bowring Marsh is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Analyst to join our team.
You will play a crucial role in analysing and interpreting data to provide valuable insights and support decision-making processes for a market leading wholesale broker.
Work closely with other members of the Bowring data team and various stakeholders across the business to understand their data needs and develop innovative solutions to address business challenges.

We will rely on you to:

Collect, analyse, and interpret large volumes of data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
Develop and maintain data models, databases, and dashboards using tools such as PowerBI and Excel.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions.
Perform data cleansing, validation, and transformation to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Generate reports and visualizations to effectively communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
Conduct ad-hoc data analysis and provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.


What you need to have:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
Proficiency in data analysis tools such as PowerBI and Excel.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex data findings in a clear and concise manner.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.


What makes you stand out:

Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry.
Knowledge of SQL/ Python/R & Alteryx would be beneficial
Visualisation tool awareness and experience; QlikView, QlikSense, PowerBI, Tableau
Project Management Skills
