A Day in the Life


We are currently seeking an

Insurance

Operations Specialist

to become an integral part of our Operations Excellence Team. This role involves comprehensive support across different departments, including health and benefits, business insurance, and, notably, personal lines. The primary focus will be on personal lines insurance, yet the candidate will engage with multiple lines of business, contributing to operational efficiency and process improvement throughout the organization.


As our Operations Specialist on the Business Insurance Insurance team, you'll take part in


Developing, documenting, and training process improvements
License and Appointment Management: Assist with managing carrier appointments for licensed individuals.
Assisting with producer-split agreements and cross-selling initiatives
Data Management and Reporting: Obtaining, processing, and interpreting data from multiple agency management systems to produce coherent reports that drive business decisions
Assist with managing vendor payable invoices.
Continuous Process Improvement: The ability to identify, discuss, and implement process improvements, with a strong emphasis on efficiency and effectiveness.
Perform global changes upon request, adjusting operations and procedures in response to business needs.
Compliance Process Development: Assisting with or leading the development of compliance processes, ensuring they are comprehensive, enforceable, and in line with current industry standards and best practices.
Assist with or manage updates and changes to carrier logins, licensing, contracts, etc.
Assist with management system updates and changes.

Wed love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:

High school diploma or equivalent
At least one year of insurance agency experience
Proficiency with MS Office, including Excel (strong proficiency with Pivot Tables)
Strong analytical skills, including critical thinking, data analysis, and research.
Big picture thinker, sees the whole value chain of the customer experience.
Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
Self-motivated individual who is very detailed oriented, thorough, and organized

These additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply:
Bachelors degree or higher
Active and Current 2-20 insurance license
Experience with EPIC, Sagitta, and/or Image Right
Experience with Power BI.
