The Director of Intake is responsible for the success, accountability and oversight of the admission process. Manages the day to day operations of Intake to ensure safe and appropriate care is provided to those referred to and presenting for assessment for mental health and chemical dependency services. This position ensures the direction and implementation of operating policies, processes and initiatives. This includes providing coaching and supervision to staff to meet and support organization objectives.
Annual salary range: $91,520 - $127,600
Requirements
Minimum Education Masters degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Registered Nurse or relative field from an accredited college or university.
Minimum Work Experience Prefer two (2) years of experience in management level positions in mental health clinics or experience in a lead position providing direct clinical or case management oversight. Knowledge of an acute psychiatric hospitalization environment preferred. Must have experience in interviewing support and professional staff and providing director level oversight of strategic planning, organization growth, budget management and clinical application of services. Strong clinical and interpersonal skills, ability to lead and direct work of others, excellent written and verbal communication skills.
