Ally Pediatric Therapy, a specialty clinic for children with autism and other childhood disorders, is looking for an Intake Coordinator to join our growing team.

Our mission is to be an ally in growth to the children and families we serve. To do so, we utilize a unique approach of integrating the principles of applied behavior analysis and speech-language pathology expertise.

Position Summary: To help new and prospective clients obtain quality therapy by educating them on Allys services and guiding them through the process, and gathering data and information, updating the corresponding software and coordinating and communicating with various insurance companies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for families inquiring about therapy by explaining Allys therapy model and explaining the intake process to families
  • Obtain client information and records from parents, physicians, insurance and billing companies and others as necessary
  • Verify insurance coverage and obtain authorizations to start and continue services
  • Communicate and explain insurance eligibility and benefits to prospective families
  • Enter personal information, medical history and insurance information into the digital system and complete and maintain client files
  • Facilitate client onboarding process
  • Return calls or contact inquiry within 24 business hours
  • Answer incoming calls and respond to questions or route appropriately

  • Critical thinking skills with the ability to trouble shoot and minimize complications
  • Must be efficient, organized, and detail oriented
  • Ability to remain calm, poised, professional and helpful
  • Understanding of benefits terminology and concepts
  • Experience working with a CRM and CentralReach, Sfax, DocuSign

Requirements

  • Proficiency with Microsoft office products (Word, Excel PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Detailed, organized, and self-disciplined
  • Solution oriented and critical thinking skills
  • Positive attitude: energetic, personable, friendly
  • Previous experience working in a healthcare or medical setting preferred
  • HS diploma or GED preferred

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

  • Position involves sitting, standing, movement throughout the day in an office.
  • Core hours are Monday Friday, 9am 5:30pm.
  • Remote
