A full-service residential design studio near Madison Square Park is currently seeking a full-time Junior Project Coordinator with 1-2+ years of design experience in New York, NY. This studio is dedicated to creating modern interiors that are timeless, balanced, and layered. The Junior Project Coordinator will be hands-on with all aspects of the design process, particularly by supporting the Principal and other designers with project management and procurement. The ideal candidate will work in a collaborative environment, have a curiosity to grow and learn with the studio, and help bring to life authentic designs.

What you will be doing:

• Support the Senior Designer and Principal in all aspects of the design and project management process. Interface and coordinate with vendors and showroom representatives


• Manage procurement process of all FF+E items on a project


• Request quotes from vendors and review for client approval


• Creating and writing Purchase Orders to vendors


• Creating and Writing Invoices and Proposals to Clients


• Managing payments and working closely with the studios accountant


• Pulling reporting for both clients and internal purposes


• Coordination with receiving warehouses and shipping logistics for all FF+E


• Working with buildings and vendors to gather COI's


• Manage reimbursable charges


• General Office Tasks, such as helping to create shipping labels for samples coming in and out of the office.


• Assist with onsite visits and field inspections, as required


• Help source FF+E, as needed
