Job DescriptionAbout Interior Lanes: Interior Lanes is a dynamic and innovative design firm specializing in residential, office, and commercial interior solutions. We offer turnkey services, managing projects from concept to completion, and utilize our proprietary AI-enabled tool to streamline design, procurement, and execution, providing clients with an efficient and seamless experience. The Opportunity: We are seeking a passionate and creative individual to join our team as an Interior Design Intern. In this role, you will gain valuable hands-on experience working on various projects while learning from experienced professionals. You will have the opportunity to contribute to all stages of the design process, from initial client consultations to detailed construction drawings and material selection. Responsibilities: Assist senior designers with space planning, furniture selection, and material research. Create accurate and detailed 2D and 3D models using AutoCAD and SketchUp. Develop. design presentations and mood boards for client reviews. Conduct research on design trends, materials, and furniture options. Assist with project documentation and administrative tasks. Actively participate in learning and using our proprietary AI-enabled design tool. Gain exposure to all aspects of project management and execution. Qualifications: Currently enrolled in an Interior Design or related program, with an anticipated graduation year of 2024. Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented and organized with a strong work ethic. Adaptable and eager to learn new skills.
