Your role:

Work on a collaborative, interdisciplinary, and experienced medical robotics R&D team, tasked with inventing and launching the next generation of medical solutions for Philips Image Guided Therapies business.
Support the team with rapid prototyping, electromechanical assembly, electronics assembly as required through the iterations towards the product. Interface with suppliers and subcontractors as required. Testing and debugging of electromechanical assemblies.
Support the team with rapid iterations on robotic workspace optimization.
Join the team in state-of-the-art R&D labs located at the Philips Innovation Campus in Cambridge, Massachusetts.You will have the opportunity to strengthen your solutions development skills for Image Guided Therapy procedures.


You'rethe right fit if:

You are pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent.
Your technical skills include:
Mechanical design using SolidWorks or similar tools
Robot kinematics, Robot simulation.
Knowledge of rapid prototyping methodologies (3D printing experience is a plus)
Experience assembling electro-mechanical systems
Experience operating basic machine shop equipment
You have prior experience in rapid prototyping and in the engineering design process. Experience with complex medical devices and/or medical robotics is a plus.
Youre a self-motivated individual with good organizational and time management skills; and a strong desire to learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges.
You have strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interface in a cross-disciplinary manner, including engineers, product managers, and clinical specialists.

Philips Transparency Details


The hourly pay range for this position is $28.00-46.00, plus overtime eligible.The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factorsincluding,job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
