Hire Resolve is currently seeking skilled and motivated Internal Audit candidates for an exciting opportunity in Madison, WI. As an Internal Auditor, you will be a vital contributor to our team, conducting internal audits to assess the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes. Responsibilities

  • Perform and control the full audit cycle, including risk management and control management over operations' effectiveness, financial reliability, and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations
  • Determine internal audit scope and develop annual plans
  • Obtain, analyze, and evaluate accounting documentation, previous reports, data, flowcharts, etc.
  • Prepare and present reports that reflect the audit's results and document the process
  • Identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures and cost savings
  • Maintain open communication with management and the audit committee
  • Conduct follow-up audits to monitor management's interventions
  • Engage in continuous knowledge development regarding the sector's rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques, and performance standards

Requirements

  • Proven working experience in internal audit or related roles
  • Strong knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules, and regulations
  • Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail
  • Sound independent judgment and decision-making abilities
  • Proficiency in MS Office and audit software
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Relevant degree in accounting, finance, or related field

  • The annual salary target for this job in this market is $75,000 - $90,000. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the market demand, education, experience, and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
