Job Title:IT Technician

Location:Bellary, Karnataka

Experience:4 to 5 years

Job Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:

• Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices, including routers, printers, and more.
• Perform hardware checks on computer components (HDD, mouse, keyboard, etc.) to ensure functionality.
• Install and configure software and functions as per specifications.
• Develop and maintain local networks to optimize performance.
• Ensure the security and privacy of networks and computer systems.
• Provide orientation and guidance to users on operating new software and computer equipment.
• Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance activities without disrupting daily operations.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose problems, including repairing or replacing hardware and debugging issues.
• Maintain detailed records and logs of repairs, fixes, and maintenance schedules.
• Identify shortages of computer or network equipment and place orders as necessary.

Requirements and Skills:

• Proven experience as an IT Technician or in a relevant IT position.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication abilities to interact effectively with end-users.
• Outstanding organizational and time-management skills.
• In-depth understanding of various computer systems and networks.
• Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles.
• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field.
• Certification as an IT Technician is an advantage (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional).
