City Wide Facility Solutions, a premier provider of comprehensive building maintenance services, is seeking a proactive and dedicated Night Shift Facility Operations Manager. This crucial role is the linchpin of our nighttime operations, enhancing the quality of service delivery, boosting client satisfaction, and managing our valuable network of Independent Contractors (ICs).

This role offers a unique opportunity to work both independently and collaboratively across a diverse range of facilities such as industrial, manufacturing, office, medical, and retail settings. If you have a keen eye for detail, excellent judgment, and thrive on communication and problem-solving, this position is for you.

Responsibilities:

1. Cultivate and maintain effective working relationships with ICs and in-house staff, ensuring clear communication of client priorities and collaborative problem-solving.
2. Review, monitor, and assure the quality of work on each account, focusing on client satisfaction and retention while attracting new business opportunities.
3. Communicate effectively with Facility Solutions Managers, providing nightly recaps and immediate notification of issues that need prompt attention.
4. Make informed decisions on IC work assignments, ensuring adherence to client standards and company guidelines, and initiate discharge proceedings if service levels are not met.
5. Handle and manage inspections, customer complaints, and requests, ensuring any VIP treatment or special attention is effectively coordinated and delivered.
6. Execute and adhere to City Wides operational policies and procedures, including the New-Start Policy, Customer Complaint Policy, and Four-Star Policy.
7. Ensure compliance with client-specific policies and procedures, and oversee the correct use of approved cleaning tools and equipment.
8. Perform other duties as necessary to ensure the seamless running of nighttime operations.
9. Shifts begin at 4pm and run utnil 12:30am with a 30 minute lunch.

Requirements:

Experience in cleaning and using equipment like buffers, floor (auto-scrub) machines, carpet cleaning devices is highly desirable. Bilingual candidates will have an added advantage. However, training will be provided to fill knowledge gaps.

Metrics:

• Inspect Accounts 1-3 times per month
• Resolve Complaints / Requests within 24 hours
• Close FSM Inspection Tasks within 48 hours
• Send Nightly Recaps 100% of the time

Requirements

• High school diploma required or equivalent experience in commercial janitorial services industry.
• Three years of prior experience in management; coaching, motivating, developing, and leading a team in multi-unit or locations.
• Strong planning, organization skills, and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be innovative and strive for continuous process improvement.
• MS Office, Internet skills required
