AOS Staffing is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual for the position of Janitorial Service in the primary and secondary education industry. As a company dedicated to providing quality staffing solutions, we aim to find the best possible candidate for this important role to ensure a clean and safe environment for students and staff. The Janitorial Service will work closely with school administrators to maintain the overall cleanliness of the facility.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors regularly.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, locker rooms, and other shared spaces.
• Ensure all trash and recyclable items are disposed of properly.
• Keep inventory of cleaning supplies, notify administrators when supplies are running low, and place orders as needed.
• Respond promptly to requests for cleaning services as needed.
• Conduct regular inspections of the facility and report any damage or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Provide assistance with special cleaning projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Prior experience in janitorial or custodial work preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, and buffers.
• Willingness to work during off-hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to pass a fingerprint background check
• Must be willing to pass a Drug Test
