Captivation Software has an immediate need for a Java Developer (Mid-Level or higher preferred, all levels considered) to support Report Authoring and Dissemination efforts. Support will focus on development and sustainment of a tool with tens of thousands of monthly users. Efforts will include creating enhancements for the processing and dissemination capabilities. Telework is not expected for this role. Candidates will be required to work a rotating pager schedule for emergency 24/7 call-in support as required (roughly one week out of every 3-4 weeks). RequirementsSecurity Clearance:Must currently hold a Top Secret / SCI U.S. Government security clearance w/ a Favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen.Required Skills: Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university. Four (4) years of SWE experience may be substituted for a Bachelors degree. Shall have familiarity with software development/engineering such as requirements analysis, software development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, or problem diagnosis/resolution. Shall have familiarity with developing software with high level languages such as Java, C, C++, JavaScript. Shall have familiarity with developing software for Microsoft Windows (XP or newer), or UNIX/Linux/Centos family of operating systems. Shall have familiarity with software integration and software testing. Shall understand technical writing and have familiarity with technical documents in support of a software development project. Java 8+ Understanding, maintaining, and troubleshooting interfaces between multiple applications Desired Skills: MASH GWT Oracle Agency reporting and dissemination tools Agency classification policies Working in an Agile environment using Jira and Confluence This position is open for direct hires only.
