Job Description:
8+ years of experience in designing, building, and implementing Data Warehouse and Data Lake solutions across one or more industry leading technology products.
Critical Skills
5+ yrs. of experience in database design providing conceptual, logical, and physical data models including the development of entity-relationship diagrams.
5+ yrs. of experience with the IBM Infosphere Suite specifically DataStage.
3+ yrs. of experience with Snowflake Data warehouse to provide optimized ELT solutions and best practices for pipeline performance and SQL tuning
Strong working knowledge of relational data marts using star schema design.
Advanced understanding and experience working with enterprise ETL tools.
Provide technical guidance to drive the design and delivery of the organization's data architecture and roadmap
Responsible for optimizing and automating existing ETL/ELT processes, refactoring code, establishing standards, writing documentation, and partnering with IT and business
Provide leadership in designing re-usable ETL/ELT framework with built in quality controls to ensure end-to-end data quality and reconciliation
Excellent problem solving, interpersonal communication, and project management skills a must.
Proficient in translating complex business requirements into technical specifications.
Provide technical and strategic recommendations in addition to BI/EDW best practice methodologies and procedures.
Ability to establish operational guidelines, design architectural frameworks, and develop implementation strategies agnostic of technical platform.
Additional Knowledge & Skills
Knowledge of and experience in the Healthcare industry a plus.
Must be highly organized and detail-oriented with respect to documentation.
