Our company is a full-service mechanical contractor for commercial projects in plumbing, gas fitting, and HVAC. We are one of the fastest growing mechanical contractors in southern Alberta. Specializing in commercial and light industrial projects, we are continuing our growth and our now looking for Journeyman Plumbers to join our team!

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Oversee projects, responsible for day-to-day leadership and management of projects and for meeting project timelines and budgets
• Serve as the liaison between our Project Management Team and our Field Team to ensure compliance of construction with drawings, specs, and code/quality standards
• Plan the mechanical components of a construction project and prepare a construction schedule in partnership with the Project Manager
• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings
• Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout and installation of plumbing systems
• Assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures
• Test plumbing systems for leaks and other issues
• Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure proper installation and functionality of plumbing systems

Qualifications:

• Journeyperson plumbing certificate
• Experience in plumbing installation, repair, and maintenance
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication skills to interact with clients and other construction
