Job Title: Jr. Project Manager (Construction / PV Solar ) About the Role: This is a early / mid career Project Manager position in the HVAC & Construction field (2 openings). A great position for someone with leadership, enthusiasm, organizational skills and multitasking abilities who has managed Construction & PV Solar projects. An excellent opportunity to work for a stable, growing company offering a great work / life balance & a friendly working environment in Hershey PA This is a full-time position with a growing stable company Jr Project Manager $125K for Sr Level (plus annual bonuses up to 15% of salary) Leadership & Career growth opportunities
Benefits: Medical, Dental Insurance, 401K, Paid Time Off and more Responsibilities Coordinating and communicating with General Contractors, Design Team and Construction Team members to meet project requirements. Manage procurement of equipment, materials and subcontractors on projects Actively manage vendors and subcontractors to achieve project milestones Maintain constant communication with field foremen and superintendents to help clear obstacles and align on project approach Direct AR Department on monthly billing for projects Identify and price change orders (Estimating department will support larger change orders for PMs) Project accounting functions including managing the budget, tracking team expenses and minimizing exposure and risk in the project. Building & maintaining relationships with Customers Managing budgets & schedules so jobs are completed on time Accurately project project profitability on a monthly basis to ownership at Work In Progress meetings Closeout projects cleanly, ie; closeout documentation, clean change order logs, etc.
Requirements: Junior Level 3-5 years of HVAC & Construction Project Management experience, and experience aiding one or more Project Managers, in HVAC & Construction Will need budgeting & scheduling experience Degree/ Expertise in construction management. OSHA Training (30 hour) - NABCEP Training (Optional) Communication with Architect, owner, GC, contractors & engineers. Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word & other construction softwares are a plus Will need to read & understand blueprints / schematics / specification sections Manage schedules, budgets and mitigate risk for project completion
