MS WORKS, an information technology and services company, is looking for a Jr. Java Backend Developer to join our team. As a Jr. Java Backend Developer at MS WORKS, you will work closely with our software development team to develop and maintain the backend applications that power our products and services. This is an exciting opportunity for a developing software engineer who is looking to grow their skills and gain valuable experience in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality software solutions using Java and related technologies
• Work with our software development team to understand business requirements and develop technical solutions to meet those needs
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development and maintenance of internal coding guidelines
• Develop and maintain documentation of software development processes and procedures
• Investigate and resolve bugs and issues in a timely manner
• Maintain a focus on quality and participate in testing and quality assurance activities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 1+ Experience with Java and related technologies
• Should be good in Springboot, Kafka & DevOps tools
• Good understanding of databases & web storage
• Should be good in html/css, Git or Github.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles
• Familiarity with software development methodologies such as Agile and Scrum
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
