We have an immediate position for a Jr Network Engineer. This is a remote position for 6 months and then at some point will change to the office location in Glenview IL once Covid restrictions are lifted.

Responsibilities

• Junior level position taking direction from the senior level position to provide network engineering support and take direction from the customer.

Requirements

• Routing and switching configurations and troubleshooting
• Confident with design and configuration of following technologies: Cisco routers (ASR & ISR), Cisco Switches (3800 Series, Nexus, etc.), Stacked switch support, Cisco Viptela & ACI technologies, Wireless Controllers & access points, VPNs (P2P & DMVPN) EIGRP & BGP routing protocols
• Current best practice design principles
• Authentication TACACs/RADIUS and ISE, F5 loadbalancers, Palo Alto firewalls
