Mercer is seeking candidates for the following position based in the Lisbon office:


Ireland Investments Consulting Analyst

Work as part of the Investment Consultant team in all aspects of investment consulting work on both corporate and trustee clients;
Work directly with Ireland-based consultants and support teams in Portugal and Ireland to coordinate and manage the delivery of services to our clients;

Support in all stages of the investment consultancy process for Irish DC pension funds.

We will count on you to:

Helping consultants managing a portfolio of clients on a day-to-day basis, manage and track ongoing actions for clients, draft correspondence to clients.
Engage in the production and review of quarterly Investment reports;
Supporting in the preparation of Trustee meetings packs;
Updating various compliance documents and investment updates;
Prepare communications to members regarding any changes to their plan;
Support the business in non-client related tasks, namely implementation and update of investment templates, lifestyle strategy reviews, investment committees.
Involvement in project work as required even outside of investment subjects;

What you need to have:

Bachelors or Masters in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Management, or similar.
Desired professional or academic background in Finance/Investments.
Understanding of pensions, investment markets and asset classes;
Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
Excellent planning and organisational skills as well as being proactive and goal oriented in order to prioritise and effectively manage a wide variety of ongoing tasks;
Ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues and clients. Comfortable dealing with clients contacts;
