GolfSuites is seeking part-time Junior Marketers in our Lubbock, TX location. GolfSuites mission is to provide a fun, all-Inclusive, engaging, and authentic golf-centric entertainment venue focused on ultimate hospitality and game improvement. GolfSuites prides itself on delivering FUN with passion by building relationships and creating unforgettable experiences for every guest.

The Junior Marketer will be expected to work 20-30 hours per week (30 hours MAX) and will be paid an hourly rate of $15/hour(link removed) This position reports to the Director of Marketing and the Director of Operations. The Junior Marketer will be responsible for creating engaging content for social media platforms, managing content distribution, and enhancing the guest experience through internal/external messaging and relationship building.

  • Content creation: Plan and implement social media strategies to increase engagement and followers. Create engaging content for social media platforms, specifically TikTok style videos showcasing the different aspects of our brand.
  • Research: Conduct research on social media trends, best practices, and industry news to inform content creation and strategy.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with other team members, including marketing, communications, and design, to ensure social media content aligns with broader organizational goals and messaging.
  • Community management: Engage with followers and building relationships with the social media community. Respond to guest inquiries and comments in a timely manner.
  • Internal Marketing: Make sure all internal messaging and signage is up to date and looks for ways to enhance the guest experience with our brand messaging.
  • Monitor and provide feedback on engagement via marketing channels to leadership in a timely manner
  • Interact with Guests to ensure a positive experience
  • Drive Guest and Team Partner engagement through digital and onsite content
  • May perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in marketing, advertising, business administration, or related field preferred (Note: current students pursuing one of these degrees will be considered in the application process)
  • At least one year of experience in marketing, social media content creation, advertising, or communications
  • Proficient knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Excellent communication, time management, collaboration, and organization skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects/programs simultaneously while meeting deadlines and remaining calm under pressure
  • Flexible in approach - can readily adapt to business and team needs and changes
  • High personal standards of conduct and professionalism, self-motivated
  • Ability to work in extreme weather conditions for extended periods
  • Able to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Ability to stand and walk for extended periods including maneuvering up and down stairs
