This position provides support to the Payroll / HR department for all US and Canada offices. Responsible for employees being paid accurately and on time. This includes processing timesheets, updating payroll records, and answering employee questions.

Duties:

  • Processing financial compensations or deductions
  • Overseeing payroll payments
  • Process attendance records and other documents (e.g. W-2 and tax forms)
  • Check payroll information for accuracy and ensure all relevant paperwork is in order
  • Coordinate with HR about changes in payroll (e.g. terminations, new hires)
  • Oversee electronic payments and distribution of payroll checks
  • Process other financial compensations or deductions (e.g. annual bonuses, severance pay, taxes, workers compensation)
  • Produce reports to upper management upon request
  • Answer employee questions/concerns about salaries and payments
  • Assist Payroll Department as necessary with special projects or tasks.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in HR Business Administration and/or 1+ years of HR generalist experience.
  • 1+ years of payroll experience preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills a must with a proven ability of building good interpersonal relationships with people across the organization.
  • Must be extremely detailed oriented with excellent analytical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel
  • Well-developed problem-solving skills and ability to work independently to resolve issues.

Base salary range: $50,000 $55,000 plus bonus potential if applicable for role. Actual base salary is dependent on several factors including but not limited to; market dynamics, location and region, experience, specialized skills/training (education), level of responsibility, budgetary considerations, tenure at the company (for current employees), etc. The salary range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Compensation decisions are dependent on circumstances of each role.
