A Junior Wireless Engineer is needed to join our Wireless team.


ABILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Clients can benefit from RF wireless engineering. This comprises a fundamental grasp of RF transmissions, mapping and surveying, access point, antenna, and related equipment configuration, cabling infrastructure to support WLAN systems, client wireless configurations, operations, and troubleshooting.
Conduct wireless site surveys with spectrum analysis technology, and then recommend and implement corrective action.
Wireless security platform configuration, including intrusion prevention and clean access options.
Provide complete network designs and diagrams, as well as as-built documentation for the connections.
Using Ekahau Survey Pro and/or AirMagnet Survey, conduct wireless site surveys, site evaluations, and generate Heat Maps.
Configuration of both self-contained and lightweight access point solutions, such as Clean Air, Cisco Prime Infrastructure, MESH, RFID, and RTLS.
Provide complete network designs and diagrams, as well as as-built documentation for the connections.
Wireless survey tool experience (Ekahau Pro or AirMagnet)
Knowledge of Cisco access points and antenna options
Knowledge of wireless survey procedures for hospital, office, factory, warehouse, outdoor, and mesh designs is required.


QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
1 year or more of experience designing predictive and AP on a Stick designs in Ekahau Survey Pro 10.
Experience in enterprise network design or support ranging from 6 months to 3 years.
6 months to 3 years of Cisco wireless infrastructure support in a big enterprise context Knowledge of Cisco wireless solutions such as the 3504, 5520, and 9800 WLCs
The Veteran's Administration Background Investigation must be completed or passed.
Must be able to pass a drug test.
Must complete and pass two stages of tuberculosis testing.
A valid state driver's license and proof of insurance are required.
You must be at least 19 years old.
Must be a resident of the continental United States.
Certifications Desired
Certification in CWNA is desirable.
Cisco Certification is strongly preferred.
The Ekahau Certification is preferred.
Certification in AirMagnet is desirable.
