We are looking for a versatile individual to fill the Full-Time Retention Clerk Claims Division) role to support a Home and Restoration business client.

Requirements:

- At least two years of work-from-home experience as a Legal or Paralegal Assistant supporting Law Firms
- Experience with Insurance Claims is highly preferred
- Must have a Degree in Law
- Preferably has experience working in the Real Estate Industry
- Capacity and commitment to work 40 hours a week or more supporting clients following EST Timezone
- Capacity and commitment to work 40 hours a week or more supporting clients following EST Timezone (or depending on business needs)
- Strong command of English, both written and voice, is required for this position.
- Passionate and displays a Strong Work Ethic
- The typical person who succeeds in this position does not get frustrated or angered easily and can remove emotion from very demanding phone calls with adjusters and customers.

Responsibilities:

- Call insurance companies and their adjusters to negotiate settlements ranging from $20,000 to $100,000 US dollars
- Email insurance companies to negotiate settlements and individual price line items
- Constant follow-up with the insurance company adjuster to reach a settlement within a zone of reasonable agreement
- On 20% of these jobs; the insurance company mails the check to the homeowner. When this happens this position is responsible for aggressively following the check and contacting the homeowner via phone calls, mail, and emails to schedule check pickups directly from them.
- Responsible for escalated claims and will be working with both internal and external counsel for the next steps in settling challenging claims
