The Expertise and Skills You Bring: BS or Master of Science in Computer Science or related field 3+ years of development experience with strong knowledge of q/KDB+ programming, Python, Scripting (Shell/Perl) , Unix or Linux and SQL/Relational Databases, such as Oracle, is required. Experience crafting, building, and deploying applications in a DevOps environment using CI/CD pipeline; experience with Git/Bitbucket Server (Stash), Jenkins, and uDeploy are required Knowledge of Cloud computing concepts and deploying and managing applications in the Cloud (AWS S3, EC2, and CloudFormation along with Lambdas/Python a plus) Experience working in Java, Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate and Kafka, is preferred. Experience working in an Agile/Scrum project environment with project team members in multiple locations, including offshore, is required Sense of urgency and ownership when addressing anything that poses a risk to our customers or our business Superb communication and presentation skills. You are motivated, an excellent communicator, and can collaborate with application owners, architecture and business sponsors on the solution development. You have experience with advanced Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices including quality gates with test automation. You think about testability of your code and implement it as part of your development cycle and not an afterthought. You prefer to write code to test your code. You have hands on experience in working with Cloud based infrastructure. Previous experience within Financial Services/Asset Management/Fixed Income Trading is a plus.
