For 2024, were looking for
top-class undergraduate students
who are enthusiastic, inquisitive and great teammates to join our business for a 12-month placement as the 3rd year of your University degree course.

There will be placement opportunities in our Client Service and Operations teams. Successful candidates will be assessed for both at a virtual assessment centre, where having heard from our current placement students you will be able to express any preferences. If you are successful in receiving an offer, we will do our best to take your preferences into account, but it is worth noting this cannot be guaranteed.

Client Service what to expect?


The Client Service department is focused on extracting, analysing, interpreting and presenting Worldpanel data to our clients. The Client Service team are the key contacts for our clients at Worldpanel, answering their key business questions, advising on how our data can help, and training clients on our systems.

Placement students joining the Client Service team will be responsible for delivering our clients regular excel and PowerPoint reports accurately and on time. Client Service Placement Students will also be involved with supporting on additional presentations and data requests for clients and will also have the opportunity to present back to clients before the end of their placement year.


Operations what to expect?


The Client Delivery department is made up of the Client Delivery Managers team, Regional Operations Centre team and the Client Support team. The whole department are focussed on our clients, we are committed to building brilliant Client relationships alongside managing their data requirements via efficient Operational solutions.

Placement students joining the Client Delivery team will learn how to be the Worldpanel experts in our data delivery working directly with and advising our Clients and Client Service Teams on all aspects of this delivery. They will be responsible for building strong relationships across the Clients, Client Service and Operations teams, delivering against our client needs, resolving client issues, and ensuring our business and output is always geared towards our customers.

At the centre of the Clients relationship with our data, Placements in the Client Delivery team will flourish alongside the Client Service Teams.


What you will bring to our team:

Be on course to achieve a 2:2 or above degree

Be a current student on a first degree course with an option to do a 'year in industry' (2nd year on a 3-year course or 3rd year on a 4-year course)

280 UCAS points
At least a Grade B (or equivalent) for Maths and English at GCSE
An engaging communication style with a genuine curiosity andenthusiasm for understanding the markets that our clients operate in
A desire to share ideas with your team and contribute to the overall team objectives
An interest in data and numbers
A fascination for consumers, how they behave and the choices they make

Next steps

There arethreestages to the application process:

Online assessment test
Candidates invited to the next stage will be required to complete a set of online tests to be administered by UNA.

Avideo interview
Candidates will be asked to record themselvesanswering the provided questions on screenfor one minute per question (but dont worry, you will have up to threeattempts!)

A final assessment stage
This will be a combination of pre-prepared presentation and interview held virtually.
