Key Account Manager Location: US-MA-Norwood Email this job to a friend

Elevation, a partnership between M.S. Walker and Jackson Family Fine Wines, is actively seeking candidates for a Key Account Manager position. The role of the Key Account Manager is to augment the M.S. Walker salesforce in the trade in order to educate and enhance distribution on the Jackson Family Fine Wine Portfolio as well as other internal M.S. Walker portfolios. Candidates should be highly motivated individuals that are passionate about territory driven estates, and comfortable operating in Fine Wine driven accounts. Responsibilities: - Achieve sales goals within assigned territory. Goals may include new placements, cases and revenue goals.
- Provide educational wine training to accounts and staff through tastings, seminars and special events.
- Develop and continue to build relationships with MSW and JFFW personnel.
- Preplan daily for each account to maximize efficiency.
- Construct unique wine presentations that embrace MSW/JFFW programs and initiatives.
- Use wine knowledge, ROI and margins to create persuasive sales calls.
- Establish and maintain highly effective relationships with key accounts in assigned territory.
- Provide weekly and monthly sales recaps and reports on local activities to Director of Sales.
- Ability to spend 95% of time in assigned market expanding business in top accounts.
Requirements - Bachelor's degree preferred
- 3-5 years of wine trade experience; retail, restaurant or distributor
- Sound, working knowledge of wine and viticulture
- Proficient computer skills: Microsoft Office, Zoom
- Excellent interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication
- Strong work ethic, self-initiative and desire to succeed
- Demonstrate the ability to multi-task and respond quickly to demanding situations in the market
- Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision
- Professional demeanor with strong organizational and time management skills
- Valid drivers license/acceptable driving record
- Must be able to lift 40lbs.
