We're actively seeking a Kindergarten Campus Director to become a part of our early childhood education team in Arcadia, CA. This is a full-time role with an immediate start date.

About the school

A subsidiary of Asia's foremost Montessori Education Group, is embarking on the launch of a state-of-the-art campus situated in Arcadia, California, USA.

Job responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing a school campus and a passion for ensuring a high-quality learning experience for young students in our care. As a member of our team, you will oversee the daily operations of our kindergarten campus, manage staff, ensure safety and security standards are upheld, and foster a positive learning environment for students. As well as:

  • Oversee all aspects of campus operations, including safety, security, maintenance, and administrative tasks
  • Provide leadership to campus staff, including teachers, support staff, and administrative personnel, to ensure efficient and effective daily operations
  • Establish a positive and engaging learning environment for students that encourages academic growth and fosters important life skills, such as teamwork, respect, and responsibility.
  • Implement and oversee curriculum development and teacher training programs that align with the company standards and objectives
  • Develop relationships with parents and the wider community to promote the school's mission and enhance the overall reputation of the school
  • Manage financial budgets, oversee fundraising activities, and ensure compliance with any necessary regulations or laws
  • Hold staff accountable for meeting performance standards, and design professional development plans for staff to facilitate career growth

Requirements

  • Masters degree in Early Childhood Education or Educational Leadership/Administration;
  • IT and/or EC Montessori Credentia
  • 10+ years in preschool/kindergarten experience in early childhood education, at least 5 years of experience in educational management
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong leadership abilities and experience with managing a diverse team of professionals
  • Excellent knowledge of early childhood education and development
  • Experience in curriculum development and implementation
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and make timely, strategic decisions
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and requirements in the education sector
  • Proficient with social media
