Slows BarBq is looking for The ideal candidate must have a passion for cooking with a particular focus on BBQ cuisine. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all food items are prepared and presented in accordance with our restaurant's high-quality standards and customers' expectations.
Requirements
Monitor and maintain proper cooking temperatures, smoke levels, and cooking times for different meats.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including grills, smokers, and other cooking equipment.
Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient food service.
Ensure all food items are prepared and presented in accordance with our restaurant's high-quality standards.
Follow all health and safety procedures and guidelines.
Manage food inventory and ensure that all necessary ingredients and supplies are available.
Previous experience as a BBQ cook, preferably in a busy restaurant setting.
Strong knowledge of BBQ techniques and cooking methods.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Ability to lift heavy items and stand for long periods.
Food handling certification.
