Raytheon Technologies is seeking a motivated candidate in the Herndon, VA area. This person will be independent, a problem-solver, and an expert communicator. The ideal Candidate will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and maintaining applications that can extract and compute data from the Customers database repositories used to declassify, review, and release documents. The Candidate will be proficient in developing dashboards and tables in Tableau and other applications to effectively and efficiently produce business analytics and metrics for information review and release of documents. The ideal Candidate shall be proficient in, but not limited to: capturing metrics in various formats, producing facts and figures using data points; extracting, correlating, analyzing, and synthesizing disparate data and metadata. The ideal Candidate will be familiar with evaluating and applying Customer compliance policies and licenses related to the development of the Customers programs and business analytics.
MANDATORY SKILLS
Demonstrated skills in creating dashboards using Tableau.to support business analytics and visibility into workflows.
Demonstrated skills in providing data analytics support, including, but not limited to, metrics, metadata, batch tracking and data validation.
Demonstrated experience with managing, inputting, monitoring, updating, and validating the status of automated systems.
Experience with data research and operational metrics queries.
Demonstrated skills with time management, successfully meeting demanding and dynamic deadlines, with accuracy.
Experience with special projects, such as studies and/or special initiatives.
Demonstrated experience developing and presenting briefings to senior leadership.
Demonstrated experience working with senior leadership to assist in understand key data reporting requirements and key opportunities to leverage analysis of key data points to enable effective and efficient business decisions to meet organization goals.
Ability to work well with others.
Ability to work well under pressure and changing demands.
Must be proficient using multiple Microsoft applications to include, but not limited to, Excel and Word.
Responsive to other duties as assigned.
Requires advanced knowledge of work area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. May have practical knowledge of project
management. Practical to substantial knowledge of RTX projects, programs or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work.
Typically requires:
A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
Engineering/Other Technical Positions:
Typically requires a degree in Science,Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
