Position: Accounting Manager
Job summary:
The Accounting Manager is responsible for all finance, tax, accounting, legal, and insurance matters in respect of the company’s business and operations in North America, including month end closing, tax filings, financial planning & analysis. This position also prepares periodic analysis and reports for management and our global packages for HQ. The Accounting Manager represents the company for any audit from tax authorities.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with our Mexico Accounting team (Tijuana) and need to be available after hours.
- Responsible for all Accounting Settlements (monthly, quarterly and annually)
- Sales & Use tax reports are filed timely and properly-Lead yearly audit review with external auditors, lead tax income reporting process.
- Manage and supervise the day-to-day accounting, tax, finance, legal activities, financial reporting.
- Support budget and forecasting activities
- Ensure AR’s are up to date
- Research and resolve complex transactions
- Oversee AP process
- Oversee Inside Sales
- Resolve differences in inventory, in-transit and physical audit
- Manage cost reconciliations
- Manage Office Leases
- Experience with managing online sales platforms
- Ensure all payroll reports are filed properly with proper taxing authorities
- Work closely with other team members such as sales, logistics, and HQ to improve process to reduce past due invoices
- Maintain relationships with HQ members, customers and vendors, outside professionals, tax authorities, and bankers
- Comply with the company’s policy and procedures and other duties as assigned

Requirements:
- 5-7 years of accounting experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting a must (Master’s is a plus)
- CPA preferred but not required
- Travel is negligible – 5%
- Experience with multi-national distribution and transfer pricing
- Experience with ERP
- Bilingual (Korean and English)
- Exceptional managerial experience
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS
