Job Description

networking Position : L1 Engineer

Designation : Trainee / Engineer.

Project : Technical Support

Experience : 0 - 5 years

Job Location : Chennai

Job Responsibilities:

• Candidate would be responsible for handling customer calls and troubleshooting technical issues related to Technical support
• Ensure resolution provided in the first interaction with the customer
• Acquiring knowledge about the newly released products and recent updates.
• Ensure that each customer receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment, which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer, maintaining solid product knowledge and all other aspects of customer service
• Position and sell Premium support contracts to customers based on their support entitlement.

Qualification:

Fresher - Graduate with Computer Science Background is mandatory. Engineering background, certification on networking concepts preferred

Experience - Graduation from any background

Technical skills & Ability:

• Self-Motivated & Ability to Work Under Pressure
• Should have good comprehensibility and understand ability of what customers want
• Should have critical thought process and decision-making capability with focus on accuracy
• Handling Internet Troubleshooting Issues relevant to Computers, Application, Basic Networking, LAN, WAN Technologies
• Customer centrality and eagerness to drive himself/herself for up gradation in knowledge.
• Ability to sell/Up sell
• Candidates should be open to a shift of 24x7.

Soft Skills:

• Should possess good English verbal skills
• Excellent logical reasoning

Computer Proficiency:

Basics understanding of Hardware and Software, Computer fundamentals, Internet and Networking fundamentals.
