The Law Enforcement Assisted Diversion Program (LEAD) is a National Model in which law enforcement officers exercise discretionary authority at point of contact with a community member to divert individuals to a community based, harm reduction intervention program for law violations driven by unmet behavioral health needs. These community members are referred to a trauma-informed, intensive case management program that provides a wide range of support services and linkages to treatment. The program utilizes a harm reduction approach.

Position Title: LEAD Outreach and Intake Coordinator
Position Type: Full Time; 35 Hours Weekly; June 1st 2023 - June 30th 2024 (Grant Funded)

Salary: $55,000 - $58,000

Responsibilities:

• Serve as point of contact and liaison for law enforcement, community and LEAD participants
• Provide initial LEAD Assessment and complete Psychosocial assessment with LEAD participants within 30 days of enrollment
• Provide community outreach to engage referred individuals and help facilitate client engagement with assigned case managers
• Support LEAD team in finding individuals when necessary-Develop and maintain positive, collaborative relationships with LEAD partners and other service providers including SUD and mental health treatment providers, healthcare providers, shelter providers, landlords, detox centers, DSHS workers
• Maintain caseload as needed

Requirements

• Master's degree in a behavioral health field
• CADC/SUD experience preferred
• Some evenings and weekends
