Key Responsibilities:The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will perform basic nursing duties, including executing physician orders, managing pill calls, conducting sick calls, assisting physicians in examinations and treatments, and performing technical/clinical procedures within their license scope. Additionally, the LPN will contribute to the professional management of the facility's medical department.

Qualifications and Functions:The successful candidate should be capable of performing the following functions at a pace and level consistent with job requirements:

• Apply appropriate nursing skills in the care and treatment of inmates/residents.
• Attend sick calls with the physician, prepare lists of inmates/residents to be examined, and set up examining rooms and equipment.
• Operate pill call, dispense medication, and document per policies and procedures.
• Manage medication, syringes, medical supplies, and equipment inventory per established procedures.
• Maintain strict security and confidentiality of all medical records.
