CorDx is a biotechnology company looking for a Lab Coordinator to join our team. The Lab Coordinator will play a crucial role in managing the laboratory operations, ensuring that our team has all the resources they need to carry out their day-to-day tasks. The successful candidate for this role will be responsible for coordination of lab equipment maintenance, ordering supplies, and managing data. The Lab Coordinator will also work closely with our team of scientists, providing administrative support as well as providing daily updates on lab operations. Responsibilities - Maintain inventory of lab supplies, ordering and communicating low stock levels to management
- Schedule and supervise maintenance and repair of lab equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Ensure timely preparation of chemical solutions for laboratory experiments
- Develop and maintain protocols for lab safety, cleanliness, and waste disposal
- Record, track, and manage data associated with laboratory tests and experiments
- Coordinate and negotiate with outside vendors for lab supplies and services when required
- Provide administrative support to scientific team, including photocopying, filing, and scheduling
Requirements - Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a laboratory setting
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with laboratory operations and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and experience with electronic lab notebooks.
