Job Description
Job Duties:
  • Technician level position performing high volume, basic analysis on advanced processors using analytical tools such as CSAM, optical microscopes, X-Ray, TDR and related equipment.
  • Hands on job requires use of chemicals and polishing equipment for sample preparation and also chip-package interaction (CPI) analysis.
  • The individual supports both routine and complex tasks requiring analytical aptitude and mechanical skills.
  • The job also involves participation in teams in support of continuous improvement or engineering project activities.
  • Working extended hours and weekends may be necessary.
Experience and Education:
  • Associate degree with emphasis in science, electronics or semiconductor related areas with one year experience or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
Prefer knowledge in one or more of the following areas:
  • physical failure analysis, electronics, safety, chemicals, bench test, CMOS process, electrical/electronic repair.
  • Good verbal and written communication, team, and basic math skills required along with working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
